Silversmithing and soldering techniques to create a prong setting for a flat bottom stone. Some stones that are straight sided, freeform shape, rose cut, or high domed cabochons are better suited to setting with prongs, rather than a bezel.
Saturday and Sunday, 1 – 5pm each day, 8 hours of instruction, $295.00
Extra costs: The sterling silver you use will be weighed, and depending on your project it may cost between $10.00 - $25.00. Also, if you need any, stones are available to purchase.
Previous silversmithing experience, including soldering, are required for this class.
